We run three mens teams.
The 1st team finished in a mid-table position in North West Division 3 last season and are confident of building on this in 2011/12. They are captained by Matt Wright, who is assisted by vice-captain Phil Molyneux, the league’s top goalscorer in 2010/11.
After securing promotion to North West Division 5 North in 2010, the 2nd team finished the 2010/11 season in a mid-table position. This followed an impressive start that saw them challenging at the top of the table before Christmas. Captain Adam Horrobin has high hopes for the new season, with a new wave of Junior players coming through the ranks.
The 3rd team are captained by Andy Pilling for the 2011/12 season. They occupy a place in North West Division Nine North and offer a fantastic opportunity for youngsters to begin their hockey careers, surrounded by experienced players who offer guidance and enthusiasm.
Training
Men’s training takes place every Wednesday at the University of Cumbria Astroturf pitch from 8.30pm-10pm.

We play every Saturday, see fixtures on the downloads page for more details. Home games are played at the University of Cumbria, Lancaster.
After the match
We encourage our players to support our sponsors and play host to visiting teams by gathering at The Boot and Shoe after home matches, where food is provided by our sponsor, Mitchells.

Umpires
We are always looking for volunteers to umpire to ensure we can play all our games on a Saturday. We value our umpires and encourage players to take their umpire qualifications. We welcome new umpires.
So if you are a retired player or interested parent and would like to umpire speak to our Umpires Co-ordinator.
Player Registration
Could all members of Morecambe Hockey Club, along with paying their annual subs, download a registration form. Please hand this to the Club Secretary.
