Morecambe hockey club is continuously looking for new players to join the club. If you are looking to get involved in hockey, come along training at 7pm on a Wednesday night at the University of Cumbria Astroturf pitch, Lancaster or contact Nicky Gomersall, Ladies Co-ordinator.
Season 2011-2012
Morecambe Hockey Clubs Ladies section is pleased to be able to announce a full team of coordinators and captains for the upcoming season.
The Teams
We currently run 3 Ladies teams.
The 1st team captained by Ali Standeven finished the 11/12 season in a very credible 3rd place, in Lancashire Central Women’s Premier Division. This year they are hoping to build on this and push for Promotion.
The 2nd team finished the season in eighth place in the 2nd Division after a difficult season. The team is looking forward to gaining from their team experience and moving rapidly up the Division in the upcoming season. Our 3rd team is a great place for our Junior players to get a taste of adult hockey. At 13 years of age they can join the Ladies League.
Training
Our training sessions are held at the University of Cumbria Astroturf pitch, Lancaster on Wednesday evenings from 7pm – 8.30pm.
