Morecambe & District Hockey Clubs Junior Training has now started for the 2009/2010 season.
Training sessions are held for children from 6 to 16 years of age every Tuesday at the University of Cumbria, Lancaster (Formerly St Martins). These run throughout the hockey season from the beginning of September to the end of March.
We welcome both boys and girls of all abilities.
Children are required to wear shin pads and suitable clothing. Gum shields are recommended, but not compulsory. Hockey sticks can also be provided if required at no extra cost.

Morecambe and District Hockey Club recently achieved Club 1st status. The Club has successfully completed the assessment process and following an 
independent Nominated Officer’s visit to the club has received the honour of being accredited by England Hockey and has received Clubmark accreditation from Sport England. These are both nationally recognised awards that demonstrate Morecambe HC’s determination to provide a safe and effective club environment for the future of the sport.
